Shorty's Ice Cream Shop offers a wide assortment of sumptuous summer treats. Choose from soft or hard ice cream, delicious sundaes, banana splits, creamy smoothies, cold slushies and sodas, and frothy hot chocolate. Enjoy your treats on the deck or take a stroll along the river. Shorty's is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Victoria Day weekend in May to mid-September.

Our new Public Laundromat is equipped with both top-load and front-load machines in a clean, smoke-free environment. Coins and laundry detergent are available at the office during office hours. The Laundromat is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

At Lane's you are close to many Local Amenities. We are a 20 minute drive to a class A beach, 20 minutes from car ferry to Pictou, Nova Scotia and the Aquatic centre (pool, gym, raquetteball / squash courts) is nearby. Seal cruises out of the Montague Marina, restaurants, churches, grocerys stores all nearby.
